HIKING

The Bruce Trail winds it's way through southern Ontario. The most scenic parts of this trail are located between Wiarton & Tobermory. Miles of trails exist running along cliff edges over-looking Georgian Bay - or walk within an "alvar" along the shores of Lake Huron and watch the sunset.

There are several good golf courses in the Bruce Peninsula and region. All levels are covered by the courses... and memberships are available in most of them

At Sauble Beach there are the courses of Sauble Golf and Country Club and Pinewoods Golf Club. At Hepworth there is Northern Dunes Golf Club. On the Northern Bruce Peninsula, in Tobermory, the Cornerstone Golf Club also is available.

Bruce County has created several mountain bike parks in the region - here avid mountain bikers and beginners can use the trails and have a real "mountain biking experience" . Another great experience for families or retirees. The country roads in the area also provide for great cycling.

WINTER SPORTS

Snowmobiling - The Grey/Bruce snowmobile area has over a 1000 km of groomed trails and no major bodies of water to navigate over. It's no wonder Grey / Bruce has become one of the most popular snowmobile trails to go sledding.

Cross-country Skiing & Snowshoeing - There are several groomed trails in the area that offer excellent cross-country skiing. Or you can ski on one of the many trails into the national or provincial parks.
